Update 10/12/17 8:55 a.m.:  An aide for County Commissioner Denise Driehaus emailed WVXU Thursday morning that Commissioner Todd Portune was "speaking for himself" on the TIGER grant application during Wednesday's city council meeting, not the board as a whole.

Cincinnati Council could approve an ordinance Wednesday to apply for a $15 million federal grant to help replace the Western Hills viaduct.  

The city would be applying for TIGER and INFRA grants from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
