Barbara Gray recently had the chance to speak with bestselling children’s author Sherri Rinker about her life, how her books Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site and Steam Train, Dream Train came to be, and she reads a bit of her writing.

Perhaps Cincinnati’s most acclaimed author of children’s literature is Andrea Cheng. She’s in our studio with Barbara Gray to talk about her newest trilogy, which kicked off with the book The Year of the Baby.

Author Robert Skead has been a successful children’s author for quite some time, but his new e-book finally puts together a story around his hometown hero, and Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer, Johnny Vander Meer. In Catching Rainbows: The story of Johnny Vander Meer's Back to Back No Hitters, he pays tribute to the man who put Midland Park, New Jersey on the map.
