UC grad adapts Neil Gaiman book into a graphic novel

University of Cincinnati graduate P. Craig Russell is on the phone with our Frank Johnson to talk about his graphic novel adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel The Graveyard Book. Volume 1 is out now with volume 2 scheduled for release this fall.

Play It Forward is a local foundation that helps local musicians in times of need. They are gearing up for their 19th Annual Michael W. Bany Golf Scramble to support their efforts and Brian O’Donnell learns more about Play It Forward, the golf event and its namesake, Michael Bany, from the foundation’s Jim Hunt and Michael’s brother, Mark Bany.

Bird Box is the debut novel from Detroit-based musician and author Josh Malerman, and he’s on the phone with our Barbara Gray to talk about his book’s plot and his “other” job as lead singer/songwriter for the rock band The High Strung.
