"Rites of Passage" now on display at the Cincinnati Art Museum

Elizabeth Nourse was a Mt. Healthy-born painter who spent most of her life and career in France. Jane Durrell has a review of Rites of Passage featuring one of Nourse’s most acclaimed works, The First Communion, and the accompanying exhibition of fourteen of her other works, now on display at the Cincinnati Art Museum.

Coming up: the Bearcat Piano Festival and Pianopalooza

The Bearcat Piano Festival is coming to the UC campus starting February 6 and will feature two weeks of performances, master classes and other activities, concluding with the popular Pianopalooza concert on February 16. Two of the area’s finest pianists and professors at the College Conservatory of Music, Awadagin Pratt and Michael Chertock, are in the studio with Brian O’Donnell to talk about this mid-winter piano celebration.

It’s not too early to start looking ahead at your child’s spring break and one fun opportunity that week is the Spring Break Horse Camp taking place at the Winton Wood Riding Center.
