Worst Flu Season In A Decade Has Not Reached Its Peak

This is a strain of swine flu, H1N1, which infected many people around the world nine years ago.

This has been one of the nastier flu seasons in recent years, leading to an alarming number of sick people. According to the Centers for Disease Control, influenza is widespread in 48 states and Puerto Rico, and the flu season hasn’t hit its peak yet.

Veteran physician and scientific advisor Dr. Bill Millersays there are simple steps to take now to ensure we don’t have another pandemic like we did 100 years ago. He joins us, along with Cincinnati Enquirerstaff writer Anne Saker, who’s been covering the flu outbreak in our region.
