WKRC-TV Adding Hour To ‘Good Morning Cincinnati’ And Other Daytime TV Changes

Sheila Gray and Bob Herzog will be working longer starting Sept. 21, when WKRC-TV expands “Good Morning Cincinnati” to 7-9 a.m. on sister station WSTR-TV (Channel 64).

Gray, who jumped to WKRC-TV last year from WXIX-TV, will be competing longer with her old station. Channel 19 airs local news until 11 a.m. Channel 12’s morning show will air 4:30-9 a.m.

The expanded “Good Morning Cincinnati” premieres Sept. 21, the week most of the new fall TV prime-time series debut.

The majority of daytime changes start the week of Sept. 14, including WCPO-TV’s new 7 p.m. half-hour newscast.  See the list below.

WLWT-TV (Channel 5)

No daytime changes.

WCPO-TV (Channel 9)

3 p.m.: “FABLife” with Tyra Banks premieres Sept. 14. “Hot Bench” moves to WSTR-TV (Channel 64).

7 p.m.: “9 On Your Side @7PM” premieres Sept. 14 with Julie Dolan and Steve Raleigh. 

7:30 p.m.: “The List” slides back a half-hour from 7 p.m.  “Right This Minute” moves to 10:30 a.m., replacing the canceled “Let’s Ask America.”

WKRC-TV (Channel 12)

9 a.m.: “Wendy Williams” has moved from 4 p.m. on sister Channel 12.2. It replaced “Meredith Vieira,” which airs 7 a.m. on Channel 12.2

7 a.m.: “Meredith Vieira” moved from Channel 12.

1 p.m.: “Law & Order : Criminal Intent” starts Sept. 14, replacing “Law & Order: SVU.”

2 p.m.:  “Paternity Court” starts Sept. 14, moving from WSTR-TV (Channel 64).

4-5 p.m. “Crazy Talk,” a look at reality TV and conflict talk show clips, starts Sept. 14.

6-7 p.m.: “2 Broke Girls” air back-to-back starting Sept 21, replacing “Two And A Half Men” and “Modern Family.” “Modern Family” still airs 7-8 p.m. “Mike & Molly” moves to Channel 64.

11 p.m.: “Seinfeld” moves from Channel 64 Sept. 21.

WXIX-TV (Channel 19)

2 p.m.: “Cops: Reloaded” airs 2-3 p.m., moving over from overnights on Channel 12.2

3 p.m.: “Crime Watch Daily” premieres Sept. 14. “Jeopardy!” rerun moves to 1:30 p.m.

WSTR-TV  (Channel 64)

8 a.m. “Good Morning Cincinnati” expands to two hours on Sept. 21. “Maury” moves to 3 p.m.

3 p.m.: “Maury” bumps “Paternity Court” to Channel 12.2.

5-6 p.m.: “Hot Bench” starts Sept. 14.

10:30 p.m.: “Mike & Molly” on Sept. 21 replaces “Seinfeld,” which goes to Channel 12.2.
