A group of ambitious Walnut Hills residents took on the task of creating several short films this summer that explore and highlight the people and flavor of their community. Hilltop Stories: A Neighborhood Film Project also served to bring neighbors together. Joining us to discuss the project are artist and art educator, Sam Meador; Ryan Mulligan, assistant professor of Fine Art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, and Dan Joyner, an organizational and participatory leadership consultant with government, educational and local groups.
Sponsored in part by FUEL Cincinnati, The Hilltop Stories Neighborhood Film Festival will be held August 15 at 9:15 PM in the DeSales Corner public parking lot. A satellite exhibition at The Gallery Project will display the process of creating the films.
