A Visit with Jazz Guitarist Bob Ross

Bob Ross sat down in the WVXU studio with Ron Esposito Monday afternoon, October 30th, to talk about his musical career which started at the age of 14 and was influenced by Metallica.  Bob honed his guitar style while studying at Morehead State University and also in Philadelphia.  He talks about guitarists Jimmy Bruno and Pat Martino as well as his approached to sound and music.

Bob is currently teaching at Mt. St. Joseph University where he's an instructor of contempoary guitar and also teaches at the West Chester Academy of Music.  He has recorded two albums and hopes to one day release a recording of solo guitar songs.  He has a number of future gigs where fans can hear him perform:
