The Two Angry Guys Back On The Air

ESP Media

The Two Angry Guys -- Tom Gamble and Richard Skinner – are back on the air after a 10 year absence.

As a podcast. Here's the link.

Gamble and Skinner released their first "Two Angry Guys" podcast this week through Ebel's Sports Productions ESPMediasn website

"Everywhere you go, it doesn't take long for someone to say: When are you guys getting back together? To this day, they ask me about it," says Gamble, who co-hosted local sports talk with Skinner for more than 10 years on WBOB-AM, WSAI-AM and WCKY-AM.

Gamble and Skinner, who worked together on the old Cincinnati Post sports staff, last were together on radio in 2006, although they each hosted separate shows on Radio One's short-lived "The Fan" in 2013 (now Old School 100.3).  Skinner left The Enquirer in 2014 to be a digital sports columnist for WKRC-TV's Local12.com; Gamble's In-Game Sports promotion company shares office space in Kenwood with Ebel's ESPMedia.

On the one-hour podcast they discuss everything from Tommy Tuberville, UC's coaching search, FC Cincinnati, UK basketball, the college football playoffs and local high school football state champions to the future of traditional media, Twitter, gift cards, eggnog and a  shameless plea for sponsors.

Tommy Tuberville leaving UC: "He was gone one way or the other. It just didn't work out. And it seemed like such a home-run hire." (Skinner)

Kerry Coombs for UC football coach: "I'm at least making a call to Kerry Coombs. I'm giving him an interview and letting him lay out his plan. I think he'd be a great coach." (Skinner)

Eggnog: "It's the most disgusting – I don't see how anybody drinks it." (Gamble). "Hate it! You can put nutmeg in it, cinnamon in it, scotch, whiskey, and I wouldn't drink it. I can't do it.

Sponsorships:  "At some point, we'll need a sponsor. We can't be expected to do this for free, although we damn near did it back in the day." (Gamble).

Welcome back guys!
