The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County

holds one of the largest and oldest genealogy collections in the country. We talk about tracing your ancestry with Patricia Van Skaik, manager of the Library’s Genealogy and Local History Collection, and Lee Cole. A member of the Ohio chapter of the Society of Colonial Wars, Mr. Cole traced his lineage back to Massachusetts Bay Colonist Anne Hutchinson with the help of the Public Library’s genealogy resources.
