Time To Save Your TV Shows Again

Disney-ABC Television

April showers bring May cancellations.  Yes, it's that time of the year when TV network executives are figuring out which low-rated or long-running series should be replaced by new shows.

According to USA Today, on the bubble are "The Grinder," "Grandfathered," "Castle," "Nashville," "The Odd Couple," "Sleepy Hollow" and "The X-Files."

Also at risk are NBC's "Telenovela" with Delhi Township native Diana Maria Riva; Fox's "Rosewood" with College Hill native Gabrielle Dennis; and Fox's "Second Chance" with Alexandria's Ciara Bravo.

Actually, USA Today lists "Second Chance" as "canceled or nearly dead," which is not good for a Dracula reboot.

Also among the goners are Vanessa Lachey's "Truth Be Told," Greg Plageman's "Person of Interest," and heavily promoted reboots of "The Muppets" (still ain't easy being green), "Heroes Reborn" and "Minority Report."

Here is thesaveourshows.usatoday.com scorecard:
