Tim Burke, Hamilton County's Outgoing Democratic Party Chair, Talks Party's Future

Outgoing Hamilton County Democratic Party Chairman Tim Burke also is a lawyer at Manley Burke in Cincinnati.

Local attorney Tim Burke is retiring as chairman of the Hamilton County Democratic Party, a position he has held for 24 years. The Hamilton County Democratic Central Committee, made up of precinct executives, will vote on his replacement June 9.

Burke first became active in politics in the late 1960s working on Jerry Springer's successful campaign for city council. He has served on the Hamilton County Board of Elections since 1993 and on the Ohio Board of Regents since 2008.
