As the decline of newspaper print circulation continues, the number of people who turn to Facebook, Twitter and other social media for short, almost real-time, news updates is on the rise. Yet there is still a desire for credible journalism, and thoughtful, well-written reporting, especially when it comes to local news. More and more readers are now finding that type of local content online.
