Rove's Super PAC takes on Ashley Judd
Actress Ashley Judd, who has been talked about as a potential opponent in 2014 for Kentucky's Sen. Mitch McConnell, is the subject of a digital attack ad put on the internet by GOP strategist Karl Rove's Super PAC, American Crossroads GPS.
The ad mocks Judd, who studied at the University of Kentucky, for being a Tennessee resident and a "Hollywood liberal," who would follow President Obama lock-step if elected.

Judd hasn't announced her candidacy, but Politico reported that she went to the Kentucky inaugural ball in Washington last month. Last September, at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, she showed up at the Ohio delegation breakfast one morning and gave a fiery speech in support of Obama.
Judd's publicist put out a written statement to the Washington Post saying "Ashley thanks Sen. McConnell, Karl Rove, and their negative allies for all the attention as she considers her future political plans, although a decision hasn't been made yet."
McConnell, the Senate minority leader, is up for a sixth term in the Senate next year.
