Reviewing Kentucky Primary Results

Voters in Kentucky went to the polls to choose the candidates they want to run in November's general election.

The Kentucky Republican Party held its presidential caucus this March, but the state held its primary yesterday. Hillary Clinton won the  Democratic presidential race with a very narrow win over Bernie Sanders. And members of both parties voted for the candidates they want to compete in the down-ticket races this November.

Joining us for review and analysis of yesterday's Kentucky primary results are Immediate Past-President of the Northern Kentucky Young Republicans and Young Women Republicans of CincinnatiExecutive Board Member, Sarah Cameron; Campbell County Democratic Party Chair and Northern Kentucky Forum Board Member, Linda Nesbitt; River City News Editor and Publisher Michael Monks; and Associated Press Kentucky Statehouse Correspondent, Adam Beam.

The Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement at Northern Kentucky University will present the next in its Northern Kentucky Forum café series, Unpacking the Primary, at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, May 26. The program, which includes a review of the May primary and a look forward to the November general election, will be held at the Campbell County Public Library in Newport.
