Renaissance On The Hill: Senior Living Latest Sign Of College Hill's Growth

May 24, 2018

College Hill, settled in 1813, has had its ups and downs, like many of Cincinnati's 52 neighborhoods. In recent years though, the neighborhood has made a comeback, with the help of several grants from the City of Cincinnati to revitalize its business district.

Now, a 53-unit affordable housing development for seniors has just opened in the College Hill business district. Marlowe Court is LEED Silver-certified. The $11.2-million project was more than a decade in the making.

Joining "Cincinnati Edition" to discuss the new development and College Hill's growth are Housing Supervisor with the City of Cincinnati Roy Hackworth; and with the College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation President Mike Cappel and Executive Director Seth Walsh.
