The Neighborhood Economics Conferencewill be held November 17 and 18 at Xavier University. The conference is designed to highlight the importance, and foster the growth, of the economy at the local, neighborhood level, in order to enact positive changes in communities.
Joining us to discuss the conference and efforts to create opportunities and options in neighborhoods are Dean of Christ Church Cathedral, Reverend Gail Greenwell; co-founder of MORTAR, a business incubator focusing on individuals in underserved and redeveloping communities, Derrick Braziel; and, author and consultant Peter Block.
