Background: Cincinnati city council member. A master's degree from Oxford University on a Marshall Scholarship, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University. He is endorsed by the Cincinnati Democratic Committee.
On the issues: Sittenfeld said he is proud of the fact that about 7,500 jobs have been added or retained during his years on council. "No one is saying we have crossed the finish line, but when it comes to rebuilding this city, we are moving forward," Sittenfeld said. He said he is responsible for creating a "chief advocacy officer for aging and accessibility" in the city administration to assist the city's senior citizens with problems they may be having with city government or other agencies. "In my next term, I want to see us working on issues of job creation, addressing racial disparities and maintaining, if not growing, our public safety forces," Sittenfeld said. He said he has "tried to be a thoughtful and collaborative member of council."
