Northern Kentucky University has named an interim athletic director as it continues its search for a replacement for Scott Eaton, who was fired last month. Former Wright State University athletic director Michael Cusack will serve as the interim AD, starting April 15.
Cusack retired in 2008, but since then has been teaching in the WSU Student Affairs in Higher Education Program and building the university's Sports Management Graduate Certificate Program.
NKU let Eaton go, saying he had failed to comply with the university's ethical principles and code of conduct.
