A new educational program is coming to Cincinnati called The Brooklyn Institute for Social Research. BISR started in New York City to offer community-based education in the tradition of the liberal arts. The four-week long courses are open to the public and give participants the opportunity to delve into important social, religious and political issues.
Joining us to discuss the program and the courses it offers are BISR regional director for Ohio and Kentucky Angela RoskopErisman, who will be leading a course called Reading the Bible: The Flood; and BISR faculty member and Xavier University Associate Professor of Philosophy Timothy Brownlee, the instructor for What is the Public Sphere?: Communication in Society.
