A technology mentoring organization is reuniting the start-ups it helped at Foundercon in Over- the-Rhine Monday through Wednesday.
Techstars alumni will come from as far away as Uzbekistan, Kenya, Israel and Europe to learn from industry leaders and share best practices.
The Cincinnati connection comes from Wendy Lea and Cintrifusewho is familiar with Techstars and suggested meeting up in the Queen City.
Among the activities at Foundercon:
- Investor Day where 180 startup founders will "speed date" with over 45 investors. (over 400 meetings will happen in one afternoon)
- BizDevDay, where 240 Techstars companies meet with 80 different corporations (Ford, Target, McDonalds) to discuss interest in running a pilot.
A couple of Cincinnati companies have participated in Techstars events. They include Lisnr and ChoreMonster.
