Extras are needed for “Marauders,” a new thriller starring Bruce Willis, Christopher Meloni and Dave Bautista shooting here later this month.
Willis (Die Hard,” “The SixthSense,” “Armageddon”) plays a corrupt bank owner being investigated by the FBI.
Bautista, a former pro wrestler and mixed martial fighter, starred in “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Meloni, Emmy nominee for “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” has appeared in “Man of Steel”and “42.”
Steven C. Miller (“Under the Bed,” “Silent Night”) will direct, starting “later this month,” according to the announcement from the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Film Commission.
“Marauders” is the second major motion picture to film in Greater Cincinnati this year, and the fourth in the last 19 months. James Franco filmed “Goat” here in May.
Both films made here last year – Cate Blanchett’s “Carol” and Don Cheadle’s “Miles Ahead – are to be released by Thanksgiving.
The film commission announcement said that “anyone hoping to be an extra” should send an email to Maraudersextras@gmail.com. It does not specify if applicants should include a photo, physical description or availability.
The email for “qualified crew” wanting to work behind the cameras should send their information to Maraudersresumes@gmail.com.
Hollywood’s Deadline site, which broke the story Wednesday, described the plot as: “An FBI agent is on the trail of bank robbers who give the stolen loot to charity. As he delves further into the investigation, the lawman discovers the trail of secrets that the owner of a bank – played by Willis – has protected.”
Joining Willis are three actors who have worked with him before: Tyler Jon Olson (“Vice” in 2015, and “The Prince” in 2014); Lydia Hull (“Fire by Fire” in 2012); and Danny A. Abeckaser (“Alpha Dog (2006). Abeckaser’s credits include “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “You Don’t Mess With Zohan,” and “The Iceman.”
