In 2018, Elementz, the Cincinnati-based urban arts organization, will have a new home. It provides more than 200 youth with programming in hip-hop dance, electronic media, music production, poetry and visual arts.
Over its 15 year span, the organization has served more than 2,000 youth. With more space, Managing Director Tom Kent says they’ll be able to accommodate even more youth.
"We've expanded the size of our most popular programs in Studio E," Kent says. "Plus, we've set aside space for our visual artists and our dancers, so we expect to have more youth in that new location."
The new space will be located at 1640 Race St., near Findlay Market and Kent says they're eager to be a part of the surrounding community.
"We're excited about the opportunity to be out on the street and helping energize the area of OTR that's north of Liberty and we really can't wait to get there and get started."
