The 13th Annual Books By The Banks Cincinnati USA Book Festival will be held Saturday, October 26 the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. Along with more than 100 authors who will talk with patrons and sign copies of their books, there will be author panels and discussions; a kids zone and teen scene with a variety of activities and entertainment; sponsor tables; and an onsite bookstore from Joseph Beth Booksellers.Cincinnati Public Radio will have a table - stop by and say hi to the hosts and staff, sign-up to win a CD or other prize, and let us know what you think about our stations! At 94, Dr. Henry Heimlich publishes his autobiography.

Dr. Henry Heimlich

is famous worldwide for the many medical devices and procedures he’s developed, not the least of which is the Heimlich Maneuver. Dr. Heimlich recently celebrated his ninety-fourth birthday. He also just released his autobiography, Heimlich's Maneuvers: My Seventy Years of Lifesaving Innovation. Howard Wilkinson talked with Dr. Heimlich about his life and accomplishments. Dr. Heimlich will be signing copies of his new memoir, Heimlich's Maneuvers, at Joseph Beth Booksellers on February 18.

Jay Hanselman brings more than 10 years experience as a news anchor and reporter to 91.7 WVXU. He came to WVXU from WNKU, where he hosted the local broadcast of All Things Considered. Hanselman has been recognized for his reporting by the Kentucky AP Broadcasters Association, the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists, and the Ohio AP Broadcasters.
