DHL is expanding its operations at the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport. The German-based package delivery company plans to hire more part-time and full-time employees than were announced last November.
In a news release Tuesday morning, DHL says shipping volumes have increased in the last year and it now wants to fill 150 non-seasonal positions, instead of the previously announced 100.
About 40 percent of the positions are full-time.
CVG is one of three “super hubs” for the company around the world where packages are sorted for shipping and delivery in the Americas. DHL says in the last five years it has invested more than $105 million at CVG and plans to spend another $46 million on infrastructure and equipment upgrades to double sorting volume.
DHL already has more than 2,000 employees at CVG.
The company is holding a job fair Monday, March 16 at the Holiday Inn in Erlanger.
