The Cincinnati Bell Connector has given more than 100,000 rides since it started passenger service two weeks ago.

A release from Metro says as of Thursday, September 22, there have been 102,932 streetcar rides. Over 50,000 of those were during the opening weekend, when rides were free. Another 29,000 were last weekend during Oktoberfest.

There were approximately 12,000 rides were during the first four days of fare service, and about 11,000 during the work week, September 19 through 22.

That's an average of about 7,300 a day.

A 2011 study from HDR said the streetcar system would accommodate 6,000 trips a day in the first year of service.
