Now he can give them a firm answer: 8-10 a.m. Sunday, starting March 4, on WDJO-AM and FM.

"We’re all excited to get it back up and running," says DeLeone, who hosted the show for 17 years on WRRM-FM (WARM 98.5), from 1991 to 2008.

Gary Stephens, general manager of oldies WDJO-AM, said he "jumped at the opportunity to bring back Carmon DeLeone and 'Sunday Morning Music Hall' '" for WDJO-AM (1480), which recently added FM simulcasts on 99.5 and 107.9.

"WDJO plays hits from the 1960s and 1970s, and now the 1770s," said Tony Bender, program director. "With the addition of two FM signals, 99.5 FM and 107.9 FM, WDJO can deliver Carmon to the entire Cincinnati region."

DeLeone, in his 50th season as Cincinnati Ballet music director, spent 12 years as an assistant and later resident conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He also was an adjunct assistant professor of opera and music theater at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where he earned bachelor's and master's degrees. He also led and played drums for his Studio Big Band.

John Kiesewetter, who has covered television and media for more than 35 years, has been working for Cincinnati Public Radio and WVXU-FM since 2015.
