Can Armed Teachers Protect Schools?

Recent school shootings have prompted a national debate on school safety, with no clear consensus on what measures would be most effective in protecting students and staff. School POST (Protecting Our Students and Teachers), is a proposal to arm and train teachers to respond to an active shooter incident. Boone County SheriffMichael Helmig, and Boone County Constable and Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Joe Kalil, who developed the School POST program, provide details on the plan.
