The Blues: 2.27.16 show

This week's show begins with New Orleans vocalist Johnny Adams and Nashville's Jonell Mosser.  You'll also hear Lucinda Williams's song "God Don't Never Change" from the great new Alligator release, God Don't Never Change: The Songs of Blind Willie Johnson, as well as "How Long Watchman" from Linda Tillery & the Cultural Heritage Choir.

The second set begins with Eric Clapton who's reunited with famed producer Glyn Johns for his forthcoming 23rd studio album set for release on May 20th.  The second set also includes songs from Gov't Mule, the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, and Leon Russell.  The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band is coming to the Taft Theatre with the 2016 Experience Hendrix Tour.

This show ends with songs by the Sonny Moorman Group, Key to the Highway, Joe Louis Walker, and Tommy Emmanuel.  Tommy's guitar camp in Saratoga Spring, NY the last week of June is already sold out, but you can see him at MerleFest this year on May 1st.
