The Blues: 1/23/16 show

This week's edition of The Blues includes folks like Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker, and Leonard Cohen.  You'll hear Dylan's classic Grammy-winning,"Gotta Serve Somebody," Cocker's "Respect Yourself," and Leonard Cohen's "Famous Blue Raincoat."

The first set begins with Nashville musician Jonell Mosser as well as Keb' Mo' and Joan Armatrading.  Seems Ms. Armatrading doesn't have any tour dates scheduled in 2016.  The second sets starts off with John Hammond who's playing the BBQ Blues & Bikefest at the State Theatre in Elizabethtown, KY on May 26th.  Also heard in the second set are the Goshorn Brothers and Susan Tedeschi. 

And finally, the show ends in the third set with Steve Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Sweet Honey in the Rock,Leonard Cohen, and k.d. lang.  k.d. sings "Help Me" which was released on the Tribute toJoni Mitchellcd.  Joni Mitchell has been nominated for a Grammy for "Best Liner Notes" for her "Love Has Many Faces: A Quartet, A Ballet, Waiting to be Danced" release.
