According to Fusion?'s 2015 documentary, ?PrisonKids: A Crime Against America?'s Children,? there are roughly 60,000 children behind bars in America,? more than in any other nation.

Eighty percent of these children are black or Hispanic, and a significant number are poor. Many of the jailed children are forced into solitary confinement, where they endure intense physical and psychological harm.

Here to talk about the epidemic of kids in prison and those affected locally are Chief Magistrate of the Hamilton County Juvenile Court, Carla A. Guenthner; the Administrative Judge for Hamilton County Juvenile Court, Judge John Williams; and Director of Community Programs for the Juvenile Court, Dwayne Bowman.
