Move over "Will & Grace," here comes "Roseanne."

ABC announced Tuesday that it will premiere four dramas and one comedy this fall – but the sitcom many ABC viewers could want to see will be the "Roseanne" reunion in 2018.

It's not just a TV sitcom. It's literature reflecting our culture.

That's what former Fox Broadcasting executive Nick Belperio teaches in his "Evolution of TV Comedy" course at the University of Cincinnati.  Over 15 weeks, he discusses the social, historical and cultural impact of "I Love Lucy," "Modern Family," "All In The Family," "M*A*S*H," "Maude," "Murphy Brown," "Roseanne," "30 Rock," "The Goldbergs," "The Office" and even "The Flintstones," "Gilligan's Island" and "Get Smart."

One of my favorite days of the Christmas season comes Sunday, when you watch old holiday episodes of "Golden Girls," "Roseanne," Everybody Loves Raymond" and your other favorite shows on TV Land's annual MerryThon.

This year it's even better, thanks to the Christmas episodes on WLWT-TV's MeTV on over-the-air Channel 5.2 and cable.
