Karson's Facebook page

Karson, the Wilmington police dog, has been missing for three weeks. The department and the community hold out hope the Belgian Malinois will return thanks to continued sightings in Greene County.

Police Chief Duane Weyand says the dog's handler was on vacation December 23 when Karson escaped from a boarding shelter in Wilmington.

Weyand says Karson, who has a Facebook page, is covering a lot of ground. He has been spotted in Cedarville, which is 25 miles away from Wilmington.
