A member of Ohio's police-community collaborative board says Thursday night's meeting at the University of Cincinnati was one of the best attended on the road. But Karhlton Moore admits low turnout remains a challenge. The room was less than half full and many of those present were law enforcement officers.

More than 500 law enforcement agencies in Ohio are adopting statewide standards for use of force - including deadly force - hiring practices, body cameras, and other issues.

A Black Lives Matter demonstration and march through Downtown and Over-the-Rhine ended peacefully Sunday. The protest was held after the deaths of black men and women in police custody or in contact with police.  It was organized Thursday just before five Dallas Police officers were killed at a similar rally.

University of Cincinnati safety officials met with police and community members Tuesday to discuss the status of the university's reform efforts.

The group reviewed the school's policing data and what has been done in the months following the shooting death of Samuel DuBose by a UC police officer during an off-campus traffic stop in July.
