Starting May 28, it’s the 10th anniversary of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival. It’s become one of the fastest growing and most popular stops on the fringe circuit, and this year will provide 12 days of unique, creative, and provocative theater, dance, art and more. Producing Artistic Director Eric Vosmeier joins Mark Perzel with a preview of what to look for at this year’s Fringe Festival.
Our friends at The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra are celebrating National Bike Month with a special OTR Nighton Friday, May 3rd. The event includes a pre-concert Music Ride - "a slow music ride through the streets of OTR, beginning and ending in Washington Park-- with special musical surprises!"
It’s growing very close to the serious running season, and there’s a new run on the horizon that’s part of a newly dubbed Christian Moerlein Beer Series and part of the ever-growing Flying Pig Marathonevents. The new Bockfest 5K will be part of the annual Over the Rhine beer festival. Iris Simpson Bush from the Flying Pig Marathon is in The Front Row with Betsy Ross to talk about all three stages of the Beer Series, some additions to the Flying Pig, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles for people of all ages.
