The All-Star Game celebration goes into high gear on TV tonight with WCPO-TV’s one-hour “9 On Your Side’s Guide To All-Star Week” (7 p.m., Channel 9) and Fox Sports Ohio’s first “All-Star Live” telecast from FanFest (6 p.m.) in the Duke Energy Convention Center.

Channel 9 has been designated “an official television-sponsor of the 2015 MLB All Star Week,” says Jeff Brogan, vice president and general manager.

Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred headlines the scheduled guest list for the “Mike & Mike” show national broadcasts on ESPN2 and ESPN Radio from the Moerlein Lager House next week.

On Monday and Tuesday, Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg will host All-Star Game themed shows 6-10 a.m., which will be open to the public.  The scheduled guests so far are:

Ohio Knife always gives you more than you expect, yet you still want seconds. If there is a real-life personification of the "this one goes to eleven" mentality, you can find it in this Cincinnati band made up of Scotty Wood [bass], Andrew Higley [keyboards], Joe Suer [drums] and Jason Snell [guitar, vocals].

Everything about Ohio Knife is big, bold, loud and full of serious in-your-face attitude. The same can be said for everything about their latest release Our Neighborhood.

The Moerlein Lager House now has an employee who constantly monitors social media and immediately brings any unwanted publicity to the boss's attention. It's been that way since the restaurant was embroiled in controversy more than a year ago when it took out full page ads calling itself "Wrigley South."
