Hamilton County Commissioners feel they were left in the dark as the city and the Port Authority worked out Cincinnati's proposed parking outsourcing plan. They're drafting a letter to the city to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Commission President Chris Monzel says, "Making sure there's no risk exposure on the county's part for what the Port's doing with the city and vice versa if we go off and do something with the county, could that hurt the city in any way. Those type of things, I think, need to be figured out in the future."
Cincinnati’s Memorial Hall will be in the holiday spirit on December 2 when a gathering of some of the area’s finest artists display and sell their works during the annual Holiday Sale. One of the artists, Brenda Tarbell, sits down with Jane Durrell to talk about this annual event and some of the participating artists.
Memorial Hall is one of Hamilton County's storied venues but it often sits empty because of a lack of modern amenities like air conditioning.
The Memorial Hall Society, 3CDC and Hamilton County Commissioners are considering a partnership to revitalize the building.
Society president Bill Baumann says, "Our vision for Memorial Hall is to help it transition from an underutilized facility to and active arts center with a diverse offering of music concerts and other performing arts programs, film presentations, lectures and art exhibitions."
