Kentucky legislators are looking for a way to resolve the commonwealth's pension problems, and the battle against the heroin epidemic continues on both sides of the river.

In Cincinnati, revelations about how the city's parks department managed construction of Smale Riverfront Park have prompted calls for a review of the department's compliance with city purchasing policies.
