This Saturday evening on the Blues, February 11th at 11pm, some of my favorite lovey-dovey songs from some of my favorite musicians.  The show starts off with Leon Russell's, "A Song for You," followed by Shemekia Copeland, Etta James' famous "At Last," and Leonard Cohen performing "I'm Your Man."

Peter Frampton starts off the second set which also includes Diana Krall's, "Peel Me a Grape," and the classic Miles Davis tune, "My Funny Valentine."

It's been a tough couple of weeks for music lovers with the passing of music legends Leon Russell, Leonard Cohen, and Mose Allison.  On this week's blues show, Saturday, November 19th at 11pm, a musical tribute.

This week's edition of The Blues includes folks like Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker, and Leonard Cohen.  You'll hear Dylan's classic Grammy-winning,"Gotta Serve Somebody," Cocker's "Respect Yourself," and Leonard Cohen's "Famous Blue Raincoat."

It's my favorite holiday of the year, and how lucky this year to be able to share some of my Halloween cd collection with you. (Saturday night, October 31st at 11pm)

The theme music for this Halloween special is Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield.  Please note that there aren't any breaks during this one-hour special, but the playlist will be listed on this webpage.

This was a fun show to put together since I enjoyed listening to lots of favorites this morning.  It was hard to narrow down the songs to share for this lovey-dovey edition of The Blues.  But, we'll start off with one of my favorites from back in the day, Leon Russell's "A Song For You," from his self-titled album on Shelter Records.  That's followed by Shemekia Copeland's, "Happy Valentine's Day," Etta James' classic "At Last," and then Leonard Cohen, "I'm Your Man."
