Jazz violinist Andy Stein coming to the area for three performances

You may recognize the name Andy Stein from his frequent appearances as guest musician on A Prairie Home Companion. He’s a talented and respected jazz violinist who will be doing three appearances next week with Cincinnati’s own Faux Frenchmen. A profile of music great Stanley Jordan

He’s one of the most admired and prolific musicians working today. Though known as a jazz impresario, his musical interests are wide and his collaborators varied. Stanley Jordan was recently in town and came into our studio for an interview with Frank Johnson where they touched on topics ranging from Katy Perry to Debussy, mathematics to Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead.
