Hamilton County Park District

Great Parks of Hamilton County

Hamilton County Parks is looking for volunteers for its Winter Bird Count on Saturday, December 14, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The park district says keeping a running count of native birds is critical to monitoring environmental trends in the parks. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their binoculars, bundle up and head out to help for the whole or just part of the day. At 4:15 p.m., find out the grand tally of all the parks at Winton Woods’ Winton Centre.

There is a lot going on in all the Hamilton County Parks. Kimberly Whitton from Great Parks of Hamilton County joins our Robyn Carey-Allgeyer to talk about some great upcoming events, including a performance by the U.S. Air Force Band, and the new branding of the district.
