This week's blues show starts off with the powerful guitar of Jimi Hendrix from the Fillmore East's last show on New Year's Eve, 1969.  He's followed by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bonnie Raitt and the Goshorn Brothers. 

During the second set, you'll hear from guitarist Jeff Beck, Derek & the Dominoes, Marc Broussard, and legendary bluesman BB King.  And finally the show's last set features Lonnie Mack, the Sonny Moorman Group, and Luther Allison.

This week on the blues show, Saturday night at 11pm, we'll begin with a song from the brand new Alligator Records release by Selwyn Birchwood, Pick Your Poison.  That's followed by Sonny Moorman and the Allman Brothers.

The second set starts off with the Goshorn Brothers live at Tommy's, a blues tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, and continues with Susan Tedeschi.

Tribute: In honor of Tim Goshorn, a special friend to many in the Cincinnati music community, who passed away recently, here's his song, "Skippin' Stones," which he wrote and recorded on the Goshorn Brothers' cd, Life.

Longtime Cincinnati musician Tim Goshorn died Saturday April 15.

Goshorn performed with Pure Prairie League, The Goshorn Brothers Band, and The Tim Goshorn Band.
