State Representative Dale Mallory pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges he accepted a gift from a lobbyist and failed to report it on his state financial disclosure report.
The Cincinnati lawmaker entered the plea in a Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. The Federal Bureau of Investigation says Mallory failed to report a ticket to a Bengals game he had received from a lobbyist. That lobbyist gave him food and drinks that also went unreported.
Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson, Cleveland Chief of Police Michael McGrath, Cleveland chief deputy Ed Tomba, Cleveland Safety Director Marty Flask and Special Agent in Charge of Cleveland FBI operations Stephen Anthony held a news conference this morning.
