Gateway Community College and Northern Kentucky University are partnering to make it easier for Gateway students to pursue four-year degrees at NKU.

Students can choose from 25 career paths and take up to four NKU classes at Gateway prices. All of their credits will transfer as well.

NKU President Geoffrey Mearns says the partnership will offer  better service to all students, more efficient and effective use of resources and enhance opportunities for students to pursue their goals.

A popular country music band based in Lawrenceburg, Indiana is on board to help deliver an anti-bullying message nationwide. Jetset Getset's song "Stronger," has been selected as part of PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center campaign to be used as part of a school education program.

School district report cards are out from the state and they aren't very complimentary.

Cincinnati Public earned two C's, one D and six F's. CPS isn't alone. Superintendent Mary Ronan says scores are down statewide as everyone transitions to a whole new grading system.

Cincinnati Public School students head back to class next week. Today Superintendent Mary Ronan opened the year with the annual State of the Schools address.

Ronan says the district will fully implement the new Common Core standards.
