The Cincinnati Ballet celebrates Valentine’s Day with Shakespeare’s most romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, choreographed by Artistic Director Victoria Morgan. Robyn Carey-Allgyer welcomes in Carmon DeLeone to talk about one of the truly special experiences of a Cincinnati Ballet – live, orchestral musical accompaniment, which is quickly disappearing from most other ballet company productions. Maestro DeLeone will again conduct the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra for the Ballet’s production.

The Nutcracker

It’s time again for another of Cincinnati’s great holiday traditions, the Cincinnati Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. Robyn Carey-Allgeyer talks with the Ballet’s Production Manager Robert Eubanks about this, the second year of the revamped production that wowed audiences last year. Some tweaks have been made to further enhance the production and the audience’s enjoyment of this timeless classic.

Alice (in wonderland)

Cincinnati Ballet is ready to present the regional premiere of Alice (in wonderland), a fresh new adaptation of the classic Lewis Carroll tale. Once again, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra will provide live orchestration and direction by Septime Webre. Anne Arenstein discusses this new production with the Ballet’s Production Stage Manager, Melinda Dobson.
