Abby Schwartz, the interim director of The Skirball Museum at Cincinnati’s Hebrew Union College, joins our Anne Arenstein to talk about the current exhibit, The Boris Schatz Collection, an impressive display of bronze and wood reliefs, ivories, oils and sepia paintings by Boris Schatz (1867-1932), the noted artist and founder of the Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts.

Artist Rebeca Calderón Pittman

Rebeca Calderon Pittman is a Guatemalan-born artist, now living in Cincinnati, and she is now featured in her first solo exhibition at the Northern Kentucky University Gallery. She and David Knight, gallery director at NKU, join Robyn Carey-Allgeyer to discuss her show (which closes September 20) and the adjacent exhibit of artwork from other local Latino artists.
