Growing Need for Foster Families

There is a constant and growing need for foster families in Greater Cincinnati

  At any given time, there is an average of 850 abused and neglected children, from newborns to age 17, in Hamilton County custody. The need for qualified foster families to care for these children is constant.  And between 1,000 and 1,300 Ohio foster youths age out of the system each year when they turn 18, agencies are trying to change that.

A Cincinnati Night Before Christmas

Author Nadine Huffman and artist Marilyn Lebhar are the creative talents behind the book A Cincinnati Night Before Christmas, a beautiful book all about Cincinnati and with all proceeds going to support adoption efforts happening here in the tri-state. They are in-studio with Lee Hay to talk about the genesis of the book and how they hope to sell out this year’s supply of the book, the same as they did last year.
