From the Ring IV: A Cincinnati Keyboard Christmas for Public Radio CD, the New Year’s Eve classic “Auld Lang Syne” performed by local musicians Bob Nave, Marcos Sastre and John von Ohlen.

Cate Yellig, the Art Director for the City of Covington, joins Jane Durrell to discuss her city’s commitment to art and artists, and the renaming and activities of the city’s gallery, Covington Arts.

Fans of Downton Abbey will want to tune in for Barbara Gray’s interview with Lady Fiona Carnarvon, resident of the majestic Highclere Castle, and author of Lady Catherine, The Earl, and the Real Downton Abbbey. This is her follow-up to her New York Times bestselling first book, Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey. The much anticipated fourth season of Downton Abbey premieres on PBS stations on January 5.

Roberta Shultz has a review of Roland McIntosh and Warren Anderson’s latest book from the University Press of Kentucky, Kentucky Agate: State Rock and Mineral Treasure of the Commonwealth.
