Composer John Adam's "El Nino" oratorio will be performed at CCM

Possibly the most significant American oratorio of the late 20th century, John Adams’ “El Nino” will be performed by the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Musics Philharmonia, Chamber Choir, Chorale and Cincinnati Children’s Choir on March 2. Anne Arenstein welcomes in studio Earl Rivers, who will conduct this oratorio, to share his thoughts on the challenges, instruments and written words that make the pieces magic.
