Performance and Time Arts Series

March 8-9 brings the annual Performance and Time Arts production of the Contemporary Dance Theater to the College Hill Town Hall. This performance art festival will feature modern dance, a comic opera and much more. One of the show’s producers, Karen Wissel-Shiota, spends a few minutes in studio with Anne Arenstein with a preview of this year’s event.

"Confluence" - Individual Works by Artistic Couples

The College of Mt. St. Joseph’s Studio San Giuseppe Gallery will host an exhibition featuring works by local couples who are each individual artists. Two of the artists who helped create “Confluence,” and a couple themselves, Pam Korte and Richard Hague, join Jane Durrell to discuss the genesis of this idea and some of the couples who are featured in the exhibit, which opens February 24.

Rookwood Pottery's Roy Robinson

Cincinnati’s acclaimed Rookwood Pottery recently named artist Roy Robinson to the position of Director of Creative Development where he’ll be responsible for the development and design of special commissions, gifts, retail products and one-of-a-kind pieces. Our Stuart Holman talks with Roy Robinson about this new position, what brought him to Rookwood, and the newly created beer stein for downtown’s Horseshoe Casino.
